Diablo 3 (Tale 2 of 4) Part 2
...At the same moment I saw a grin on each of the beast’s faces, this caused me to hesitate and check my surroundings. I soon realized that the room we were in, though enclosed, was getting brighter. A large fiery hand appeared from the pit and started to pull itself up, showing its self to be Diablo himself. Knowing that fire would not hurt him, I went for a different approach. Summoning a bear, a wolf, and a group of skeletons to my aid we attacked. We surrounded Diablo as best we could and sent our attacks at alternating times. This seemed to work for a short while when all of a sudden the demons that I had forgotten about attacked and killed my bear and one of my skeletons. Without a right flank Diablo turned to the remainder of my force and wiped them out one by one, until I had only a skeleton left. He picked the skeleton up hurled it at me, making me duck. The remaining demons grabbed me and tried to pin me down, but I was able to throw them off into the abyss. As the last one slipped into the gorge and started to scream as he fell, I summoned thousands of locusts to distract and attack Diablo. As they were wearing him down, I made my way to his back and with all my strength, hit him continuously with my staff and dagger. Diablo let out a wail and then swept me of my feet with his thick black tail. Flinging me around to bat the locust away first and then throwing me down the shaft to certain doom. I had left my mark on the king of demons, which was more than I could say for the last poor soul who tried. I heard it was the barbarian, who was only a level 20 at the time. I am only a level 35 witch doctor; I could have done so much more if I had just waited. I hope that what I have done will be enough for the last two heroes to finish him off for good. For now I sense my fall has come to an end and the rocks rush up to meet me.
